Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Maintenance Technician, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the operational efficiency of HVAC units, chiller systems, and various facilities including plumbing, mechanical, electrical, heating, and cooling systems. Your responsibilities will include both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, ensuring that all systems are running smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

+ Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of HVAC units and chiller systems.

+ Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plumbing, mechanical, electrical, heating, and cooling systems.

+ Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and execute required maintenance duties.

+ Exercise judgment in resolving nonstandard problems.

+ Write procedures and checklists, assist and train maintenance staff.

+ Collaborate with engineers to update and maintain SOPs and documentation.

+ Operate, adjust, and repair boilers, heating controls, air distribution, and heating systems.

+ Recondition or install new parts in complex mechanical equipment.

+ Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on UPW, mechanical, electrical, heating and cooling systems, fixtures, liquid industrial waste systems, and chemical and gas delivery systems.

Essential Skills

+ Proven expertise in HVAC, mechanical, and electrical troubleshooting.

+ Experience in facilities maintenance and building maintenance.

+ Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Technical military or semiconductor experience is advantageous.

+ Comfortable being on-call for emergencies during weekends.

+ Level 2 requires a good technical experience with 0-2 years of hands-on experience in a mechanical and facilities-based role.

Work Environment

You will be working onsite at a large chemical manufacturer in Hillsboro, alongside a team of 2-3 technicians. The building is modern, very clean, and provides a collaborative team-oriented environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hillsboro, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $38.00/hr.
