We are seeking a hands-on, Maintenance Technician with basic PLC troubleshooting skills and a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude. This role involves inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of industrial equipment including pumps, compressors, filling equipment, and more. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and eager to grow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Perform basic PLC troubleshooting

+ Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues

+ Install, inspect, and maintain equipment such as pumps, compressors, case packers, labelers, and filling machines

+ Read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics

+ Take field measurements, prepare sketches, parts lists, and purchase requisitions

+ Maintain accurate records of work performed and inspections

+ Safely rig and handle heavy equipment using appropriate tools and techniques

+ Dismantle, inspect, and reassemble machinery including cam-driven machines

+ Analyze wear, timing, and mechanical defects using sight, sound, and touch

+ Operate shop tools (lathe, drill press, shaper) and fabricate simple parts

+ Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, feeler gauges) to ensure tight tolerances

+ Wire 3-phase motors and work with up to 480 volts

+ Read and use electrical meters effectively

+ Understand gearboxes and pumps

+ Perform other duties as assigned

+ Hydraulics and refrigeration systems

+ Ability to work with hand and power tools

+ Strong attention to detail and safety

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $30.00/hr.
