Job Title: Material Handler - Receiving Department

Job Description

Join a dynamic team in our receiving department, where your contributions are individually recognized. This role involves working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, ensuring efficient handling of materials and inventory control.

Responsibilities

+ Handle and process incoming materials and returns efficiently.

+ Utilize RF scanners for inventory control.

+ Maintain organized inventory and ensure accurate records.

+ Collaborate with team members while tracking individual performance.

+ Operate equipment such as electric pallet jacks, ensuring safety and compliance.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in warehouse operations, material handling, and receiving.

+ Familiarity with RF scanners and inventory control processes.

+ Ability to work efficiently in a team while maintaining individual productivity.

+ Capability to walk at a fast pace for 8-12 hours daily and lift up to 50 pounds independently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Comfortable working at heights using a 12ft staircase ladder.

+ No fear of heights is necessary.

Work Environment

Work in a bustling warehouse environment within the receiving department. You'll be surrounded by pallets, narrow aisles, and a team of colleagues. Electric pallet jacks are operated by certified personnel. Please note that cellphones, smartwatches, and other electronics are not permitted in the warehouse. Appropriate footwear such as sneakers, boots, or steel-toed shoes is required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Flower Mound, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
