    Description

    The Commercial Collections Specialist is responsible for collecting delinquent payments of commercial SBA accounts. This role requires effective communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining positive client relationships.

    Commercial Loan Collector Responsibilities:

    + Contact customers with past-due accounts via phone and email to secure payment arrangements.

    + Track and document all collection activities, including conversations and payment commitments, in the collection software system.

    + Utilize skip-tracing techniques and databases to locate customers when necessary.

    + Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding debt collection practices.

    + Meet or exceed monthly collection and call volume targets.

    Requirements

    Commercial Loan Collector Requirements:

    + Previous experience in collections, customer service, or a call center environment is a plus.

    + Excellent communication, negotiation, and people skills.

    + Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with database or collection software

    + Knowledgeable in the loan operations workflow functions and understands the impact of each role within the department.
