Job Summary:
The HR Assistant will play a key role in supporting the HR team during a busy period. This position involves assisting with onboarding new employees and facilitating open enrollment processes. You’ll help ensure that documentation is accurate, deadlines are met, and employees feel supported during these critical HR events.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Manage onboarding processes for new hires, including ensuring completion of required paperwork, scheduling orientations, and fostering a welcoming experience.
+ Support open enrollment activities by answering employee questions, distributing materials, and assisting with enrollment submissions.
+ Maintain and update employee records in the HR database, ensuring all information is accurate and current.
+ Collaborate with the HR team to resolve employee issues related to onboarding or benefits enrollment.
+ Track and organize deadlines to ensure milestones for onboarding and open enrollment are met.
+ Provide administrative support for additional HR functions as needed, such as filing, data entry, or employee communication.
Requirements
+ 1+ years of experience in an HR support role or similar administrative position preferred.
+ Familiarity with onboarding processes and/or benefits administration a plus.
+ Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Proficiency with MS Office Suite and prior experience with HRIS systems desired.
+ Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
