Robert Half is seeking a talented Staff Accountant/Accounting Analyst to join our Full-Time Engagement Professionals (FTEP) program, a unique opportunity that provides ongoing, full-time employment. Through this program, you'll work exclusively with Robert Half on diverse client engagements in industries ranging from manufacturing, service, and healthcare to finance and technology. Key Responsibilities:
As a Staff Accountant within Robert Half’s FTEP Program, you will:
+ Assist in the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable guidelines (e.g., GAAP).
+ Manage transactional accounting, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general ledger reconciliations to ensure timely and accurate processing.
+ Perform month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accrual adjustments, and account reconciliations.
+ Prepare and maintain supporting schedules for financial audits, tax filings, and other compliance-related activities.
+ Analyze complex accounting issues and propose recommendations to resolve discrepancies and improve financial processes.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information, troubleshoot issues, and ensure deliverables are met within deadlines.
+ Support financial reporting and variance analysis to assist management in decision-making.
+ Stay up-to-date on changes in accounting regulations and best practices to apply in client engagements.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications, skills, and attributes:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
+ 2+ years of experience as a Staff Accountant or in a similar role.
+ Proficient with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) and Microsoft Excel (pivots, lookups, etc.).
+ Strong knowledge of GAAP and familiarity with financial reporting standards.
+ Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple assignments in a deadline-driven environment.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused mindset.
+ Ability to quickly adapt to a variety of industries and company cultures.
