Description We are looking for an experienced HR Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis in Gardena, California. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting human resource activities, including onboarding, compliance, and employee administration. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a non-profit organization while leveraging your HR expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.

• Conduct background checks and verify employment eligibility in compliance with organizational standards.

• Maintain and update employee records within the HRIS system, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.

• Support HR compliance initiatives by monitoring adherence to policies and regulations.

• Assist with administrative tasks related to employee benefits and payroll coordination.

• Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.

• Collaborate with team members to streamline HR processes and improve operational efficiency.

• Generate reports and analyze HR data to support decision-making and organizational planning. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources or a related field.

• Proficiency in HRIS systems and familiarity with employee record management.

• Strong knowledge of onboarding processes and related procedures.

• Understanding of HR compliance standards and regulations.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Effective communication abilities, both written and verbal.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
