The Facility Security Officer (FSO) is responsible for implementing the industrial security program and ensuring company and customer security requirements are met. The successful candidate will interface with all levels of Nightwing personnel and government management personnel to ensure contract security compliance with 32 CFR Part 117 National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM), Contract Security Classification Specification (DD254) and Program Classification Guides. The position requires a self-motivated candidate that is capable of working in an independent or team environment with minimal direction. The candidate will be required to conduct security self-inspections, apply risk mitigation methodologies, support customer assessments, and implement security measures to meet requirements. The FSO must possess the confidence to make critical security decisions concerning high value contracts and to implement security procedures that will prevent unauthorized access to company and government facilities or information. The FSO will also serve as the CSSO/CPSO.
This position is responsible for the administering of Personnel Security Clearances for Intelligence Community programs. Responsibilities include assisting employees in completing required security paperwork, processing security clearance actions, reinvestigations, updates, initial submissions, and polygraph coordination. Maintain internal company databases for the tracking of security action information. Maintain daily coordination with USG and external customers to implement regulated policy.

• Provide clear guidance to company employees, and recommend modifications to operations policies or procedures as appropriate
• Thorough working knowledge of the NISPOM, other relevant DoD security guidance as well as the Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) standards
• Proficiency and experience with Insider Threat Program
• Experience serving as CSSO/CPSO
• Thorough understanding of security databases such as DISS, NBIS, and NISS
• Administer day-to-day security programs: personnel processing, program reviews, document control system, audits & self-inspections, violation investigations & reports, receipt/dispatch/destruction/mail logs, visit certs, etc.
• Experience creating and conducting initial security briefings, debriefings, indoctrinations, pre/post foreign travel briefings and refresher briefings, as appropriate
• Ability to develop and establish an effective security awareness, training, and education program
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Industrial Security
• Strong communications skills, both oral and written
• FSO certification with minimum 4 years of experience as an FSO
Desired Skills
• CPSO training certificate
• COMSEC Custodian certificate or experience
• Industrial Security Professional (ISP) Certification
• Experience developing and implanting OPSEC plans
• Resourceful in solving problem and capitalizing on opportunities
• Professional Certifications/Affiliations
Education/Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree in Security Administration or related area
Clearance Required: Active Top Secret/SCI Security clearance with polygraph
