Our Company

SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to long term care facilities and assisted living communities. SpecialtyRx takes pride in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services.

Responsibilities

+ Able to work under the direction of a supervisor

+ Process prescriptions using OnDemand Express III machine

+ Operate, troubleshoot and maintain OnDemand Express III machine and other automated packaging systems

+ Monitor inventory levels and storage conditions for medications and pharmacy supplies

+ Maintain floor stock, including restocking and timely removal of expired medications

+ Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls

+ Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications

+ Package, fill, and ship medications using robotic packaging equipment

+ Adherence to all pharmacy operational and safety standards

+ Collaborate as a team player to meet the operational goals of the pharmacy

+ Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications

+ Licensed Florida Pharmacy Technician required

+ Experience with robotic packaging systems

+ Previous data entry experience preferred

+ Experience with OnDemand Express III or similar automation systems preferred

+ Long Term Care pharmacy experience, a plus

+ Previous experience working in automated environment

+ Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned

+ Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

+ Good organizational skills and detail oriented

+ Ability to physically perform light lifting
