    A Day in the Life

     

    As aTransportation Quality Specialist at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will join an ambitious team at the forefront of innovation in transportation, storage, and distribution of Clinical Trial Material. You will be a crucial part of our **Total Transportation Management** (TTM) and **Third Party Depot** (3PD) services, ensuring flawless and world-class logistics operations.

     

    + Aid TTM and 3PD operations by conducting remote supplier evaluations and monitoring supplier performance.

    + Collaborate with the Global Supplier Quality team to coordinate quality management of vendors

    + Act as the primary quality contact for reviewing and approving investigation reports.

    + Act as Subject Matter Authority for quality matters related to Logistics and transportation.

    + Update Approved Supplier lists and related documentation.

    + Ensure operation under GxP principles and wider Pharma Services Group policies and procedures.

    + Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures.

    + Provide data and documentation to support meetings, management reviews, self-inspections, and audits.

    + Work collaboratively and coordinate training for TTM and 3PD quality procedures.

    + Advance issues like delays in supplier audits and quality investigations.

    + Take charge of overseeing TTM and 3PD document management coordination.

    Experience

    + 5 years Experience in quality management systems.

    + Experience as a subject matter expert for quality issues related to logistics and transportation

    + Proficiency in Excel, Word, Access, and quality management software.

    + Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.

    + Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

    Education

    + High School Diploma Required

    + Bachelors degree preferred

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

    + Experience with TrackWise and Documentum is preferred.

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Windows applications.

    + High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

    + Ability to work independently and solve problems.

     

    Equivalent combinations of education, training, and meaningful work experience may be considered.
