Job Description
**Title:** Senior Operator, Manufacturing – Label Printing
The Senior Operator, Manufacturing (Label Printing) supports all production activities within the Manufacturing Services area, ensuring accurate and compliant printing of labels for diagnostic products. This role operates CI Vision and other label printing systems, manages batch record documentation from Fill Pack, and ensures all labeling activities meet cGMP and quality standards.
The position will work as an **authorized user handling DEA-controlled substances (Schedules I–V)** , requiring strict adherence to **DEA, FDA, and Thermo Fisher regulatory guidelines** .
Responsibilities:
+ Operate and maintain label printing equipment, including CI Vision and thermal printers.
+ Review, print, and reconcile labels per approved MPIs and BOMs to prevent mix-ups.
+ Manage and verify batch record documentation for accuracy and completeness.
+ Support production schedules, new product introductions (NPI), and validation activities.
+ Ensure compliance with cGMP, GDP, and DEA regulatory requirements.
+ Collaborate with QA, Engineering, and Packaging teams to maintain quality and efficiency.
+ Train and support junior operators on proper documentation and labeling procedures.
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
+ 3+ years of experience in a cGMP manufacturing or labeling environment.
+ Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
+ Experience handling DEA-regulated materials preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $21.42–$35.70.
