Description

+ Diagnoses and solves maintenance issues on hydraulic systems by using technical data

+ Troubleshoots and maintains hydraulic test benches, components, and related equipment

+ Maintains, rebuilds and/or overhauls aircraft hydraulic components according to technical data

+ Conducts functional tests of repaired components and systems

+ Document maintenance performed on hydraulic components and test benches

Qualifications

+ High School Diploma/GED

+ Must be able to read and interpret Technical Data written in English

+ Must have at least 5 years hands-on hydraulics maintenance experience

+ Must have a working knowledge of aircraft safety directives (read, interpret, follow and comprehend schematics, diagrams, drawings and technical orders)

+ Must have a working knowledge of computers (input/extract data) and basic computer software programs such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel

+ Must be able to clearly communicate and understand information about operational and safety matters.

+ Obtain/maintain security clearance

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES

+ Must be able to work various shifts: days, nights, some weekend, holidays

+ Some travel may be necessary

+ Great attention to detail

+ Ability to work in a fast paced, hands-on environment

+ Flexibility, team orientation, ability and willingness to learn

+ Effective Communication Skills

+ Environment ranges from office-like to hangar and flight line.

+ Extensive sitting to climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands
