$17.76 - $22.01 (based on full-time years' experience)

Position Summary:

Provides care to patients with acute psychiatric disorders under the direction of a registered nurse. Responsible for recording and reporting patient's status, conditions and outcome of care to facilitate the treatment process.

Required:

+ Associates degree in human services field or science, or;

+ High school diploma with three years providing directpatient care in an inpatient psychiatric unit or residential setting, or;

+ High school diploma with three years of relevant experiencein human services (social services, law enforcement, community mental health,or criminal justice) or working as security officer in a hospital setting

Preferred:

+ Certificationas Psychiatric Technician Previous experience working on an inpatient orpartial hospital psychiatric unit
