Day to Day:
An Insight Global client is seeking a highly motivated Alarm Technician (Fire and Security) to join their team onsite in Albuquerque, NM. As an Alarm Technician, you will perform and coordinate the maintenance and installation of building fire alarm systems, electronic premises security systems, and the alarm monitoring station. You will also lead and coordinate the day-to-day work of subcontractors, estimates and customer proposals, and interface with clients to ensure customer satisfaction. The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
• Consults with customers regarding system needs; prepares estimates and customer proposals; prepares billings and reports.
• Coordinates, trains, leads and oversees activities of security and alarm technician crews.
• Installs and maintains fire, security, alarm, and special systems.
• Programs and maintains equipment and systems including fire alarm, intrusion detection, video surveillance, asset protection, environmental detection, holdup/duress, integrated systems and equipment related to the alarm monitoring station.
• Processes customer billing and contractor or vendor invoices per departmental policies.
• Maintains records of work performed.
Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.

Skills and Requirements
Must Haves:
• 2+ years of Low Voltage Systems experience for Fire Alarms (Technician, Electrician, Installation, etc.)
• State of New Mexico ES-3J Journeyman Certification (low voltage special systems).
• Must be available for on-call support 1-2 times per month – on a rotation basis with team. Bachelor's Degree
