• EHS Technical Writer

    Job Description

    Insight Global has a client in the technology & automation industry that is hiring an EHS Professional to handle technical writing in support of a manufacturing facility in Lexington, NC that is being developed. This is a new facility with 125+ professionals and this role will support for the creation & upholding of safety standards through writing JHAs & SOPs for each department. This person will be responsible for:

     

    • Working with department managers & supervisors to review major tasks for each group & write the corresponding JHAs/SOPs

    • Evaluate and review documentation of policy's & procedures

    • Partner with internal stakeholders to complete appropriate documentation

     

    This role is currently a Monday - Friday 8-5 (most of the team works from home on Friday) with an option to work from home 1 day a week. We are looking for someone who is sharp and has strong written and verbal communication skills to help bring this location up to date as their production timeline is moved up.

    Skills and Requirements

    • 3-5 years of experience within EHS

    • Past experience writing JHAs & SOPs specific to EHS

    • OSHA & ANSI standards knowledge

    • Microsoft office - word & excel

     

    Strong written and verbal communication skills SAP experience
