• Senior DBA - Sybase

    Job Description

    An Insight Global customer is hiring for a senior level DBA with strong Sybase and SQL experience. This person will be joining a team supporting the Department of Corrections technical projects and providing maintenance support to critical systems. This is a 1 year contract with extensions likely and will require working onsite 2 days a week in Lansing, MI.

     

    Compensation Range: $45/hr to $55/hr

     

    Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

     

    Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - 5+ years of experience as a Sybase DBA

     

    - Strong SQL Server experience

     

    - Must be skilled in troubleshooting

     

    - Unix/Solaris/Linux experience

     

    - Willingness to work onsite in Lansing, MI 2 days a week

     

    - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Experience with EFL Migration Tools

     

    - Experience working for a government agency
