    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a Jira Integration Specialist to lead the enhancement and integration of Jira with Monday.com, SharePoint, Power BI, OneTouch, and the Estimating Tool. This role supports the engineering department’s end-to-end workflow for Transmission Interconnection Requests (TIRs). The ideal candidate will define and implement business, functional, and technical requirements to streamline intake, task management, document control, reporting, and geolocation tracking across multiple platforms.

     

    This position plays a critical role in enabling cross-functional collaboration, automating engineering processes, and improving data visibility for performance metrics and cost estimation.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - Proven experience with Jira administration and workflow customization

    - Strong understanding of system integration principles and APIs

    - Experience with Monday.com, SharePoint, and Power BI

     

    - Ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions

     

    - Familiarity with engineering workflows and project lifecycle management - Experience with utility or energy sector workflows, especially Transmission Interconnection Requests

     

    - Familiarity with OneTouch or similar geolocation tools

     

    - Experience with cost estimation tools and automation

     

    - Knowledge of version control and document management best practices
