**Schedule:** Monday to Friday, First Shift
**Type:** Full-time; Consultant (6 Months)
**Pay Rate:** $40.00 per hour

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an **Interim Quality Supervisor** to join our team, partnering with a global leader in the aerospace industry. In this role, you’ll oversee all aspects of product quality for a dynamic manufacturing operation—ensuring compliance with AS9100 standards, maintaining regulatory certifications, and leading a high-performing team dedicated to product excellence.
Your leadership will directly influence manufacturing performance, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction—helping shape the standards of quality that keep aircraft safe and reliable.
What You’ll Do
+ Ensure compliance with **AS9100** , FAA regulations, and internal Quality Management Systems.
+ Lead and support quality control, inspection, and assurance activities across the production line.
+ Manage inspection technicians, coordinating **non-conformance management** and **root cause resolution** efforts.
+ Oversee quality reporting and KPIs—analyzing data to drive corrective and preventive actions.
+ Partner with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to address product design, materials, and process quality issues.
+ Implement new inspection technologies and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and efficiency.
+ Direct key quality programs including **FAI (AS9102)** , **APQP/PPAP** , and supplier quality procedures.
+ Maintain and support the site’s regulatory certifications and ensure consistent audit readiness.
+ Build a culture of quality through coaching, training, and team empowerment.
What You’ll Bring
Required Qualifications:
+ 5+ years of experience in **manufacturing or electrical assemblies** , including 4+ years in a quality leadership role.
+ Strong understanding of **AS9100D** , **supplier quality procedures** , and **FAI per AS9102** .
+ Experience with **APQP, PPAP, MPR, MFP, ZDP, CORE** methodologies.
+ Demonstrated success in **problem-solving, root cause analysis (RRCA)** , and **continuous improvement** .
+ Effective communication and interpersonal skills to lead cross-functional collaboration.
+ Technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and digitalization tools. **This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.**
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience with **Net-Inspect** , **special process quality control** , or **Six Sigma/statistical analysis** .
+ Background in **aerospace manufacturing** and familiarity with **regulatory compliance** requirements.

**Pay Details:** $40.00 per hour
