The Director of Learning & Organizational Effectiveness will develop and/or deploy learning, performance, and organizational effectiveness solutions for Collins Aerospace, in collaboration with the RTX & Collins senior leadership & talent councils. Through partnership with key stakeholders, this position will lead a team to analyze needs, design, develop, implement and evaluate enterprise initiatives. In addition, this role will be responsible for leading senior-level facilitation initiatives.
This position reports to the head of Talent for Collin’s Aerospace. Talent is comprised of talent acquisition, talent management, and learning & organizational effectiveness. This position will work closely with cross-functional teams in achieving results.
What You Will Do:
+ Develop and execute comprehensive leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and employee experience strategy & initiatives aligned with RTX & Collin’s business objectives and values.
+ Lead a team of professionals dedicated to this work, while partnering with Talent Councils to ensure initiatives reflect and are integrated into business priorities
+ Instill a creative approach to learning by leveraging adult learning principles & best in class solutions
+ Facilitate strategic discussions to identify, assess and gain stakeholder buy-in
+ Own and oversee development of roadmaps and project plans, instilling project management discipline and talent function integration
+ Develop and maintain process measurement evaluation criteria to measure initiative efficacy
+ Create and maintain processes and systems to support accountability among leadership and management teams as they navigate business conditions
+ Develop and execute change management and communication strategies that lead to customer confidence, clear expectations, and initiative adoption
+ Define and track key performance metrics to measure efficacy of programs
+ Create senior-level presentations with minimal assistance
+ Maintain awareness of current trends in talent and infuse into initiatives
+ Drive continuous improvement in all areas of responsibility
+ As needed, provide support to larger talent function, such as talent acquisition, talent management, and DEI
+ Where appropriate, work with third-party vendors to bring best-in-class learning & organizational effectiveness initiatives
+ Manage budget for functional area of responsibility
+ 25% travel required, which may include international travel
Qualifications You Must Have:
+ Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years of experience
+ 10+ years’ experience with leadership development, learning, and/or organizational development / effectiveness, consulting initiatives, preferably on an enterprise level
+ Experience consulting and developing learning and/or organizational effectiveness interventions at scale
+ Experience working directly with the C-suite, preferably as a coach, advisor, and facilitator
+ Project or program management, organization, and the ability to deliver timely, quality projects
+ Experience applying change management models and leading varying level of transformation / change involving multiple stakeholder groups at an enterprise level
+ Experience creating professional and impactful presentations, communication and resources for a variety of audiences, including the executive leadership team
+ Experience successfully developing, leading, and launching enterprise-wide initiatives in the talent space

**Remote:** Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. _*Position is remote; however, if you live within a reasonable commute of a Collins site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role._

The salary range for this role is 176,000 USD - 352,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
