    Analytical Chemistry Leader – Contract Development & Manufacturing Organization

    A leading global CDMO is seeking an accomplished Analytical Chemist to drive innovation and excellence in pharmaceutical development and manufacturing. Join an international network dedicated to advancing specialty APIs, excipients, drug products, and packaging—all with a focus on improving patient outcomes.

    Position Summary

    Lead analytical R&D efforts to optimize manufacturing processes, deliver clinical trial batches, and develop new methodologies. Influence project results from conception to implementation using your expertise in analytical and organic chemistry.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead multi-disciplinary teams in technology transfer and development projects.

    + Design and advance analytical chemistry methods and process improvements.

    + Develop and validate analytical techniques at the process scale.

    + Support the formulation of R&D proposals, project plans, and budgeting.

    + Author protocols, reports, and regulatory documentation.

    + Evaluate and implement new analytical technologies for process enhancement.

    + Analyze raw materials, intermediates, and drug substances for clinical registration and in-house use.

    + Define analytical specifications for materials and product control.

    + Collaborate on site-based process troubleshooting and continuous improvement.

    + Mentor and manage direct reports in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

    + Maintain rigorous documentation and compliance with industry standards and GLP.

    + Champion safety and environmental stewardship in all activities.

    Qualifications

    + PhD in Chemistry plus 3 years relevant experience; or bachelor’s/master’s degree with 7+ years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    + Track record of innovation in analytical chemistry and process improvement in a GMP-regulated setting.
