    You will be the Supplier Quality Engineer Staff for the Quality Engineering team\. Our team is responsible for ensuring product and process excellence across design, production, and supplier domains\.

     

    What You Will Be Doing

     

    As the Supplier Quality Engineer Staff you will be responsible for driving quality initiatives, conducting technical evaluations, and partnering with cross‑functional stakeholders to elevate reliability and compliance\.

    Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

    + Apply quality principles to design, incoming material, production control, and R&D activities\.

    + Collaborate with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers to resolve quality issues\.

    + Lead product‑failure investigations, material‑review‑board decisions, and corrective‑preventive actions\.

    + Develop and implement strategies to improve internal and supplier performance and productivity\.

    + Design and analyze inspection and testing processes, conduct statistical analyses, and ensure compliance with reliability standards\.

    MUST BE A U\.S\. CITIZEN \- This position is located at a facility that requires special access\. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance\.

    Basic Qualifications:

    STEM degree at Bachelors level or higher, or equivalent experience/combined education\.

     

    Must be US Citizen and have ability to obtain security clearance\.

     

    Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing \(GD&T\)\.

     

    Experience identifying and documenting quality non\-conformances and ensuring effective corrective action\.

     

    Experience performing root cause analysis and identifying solutions to complex problems\.

     

    Experience interpreting engineering drawing requirements, special processes and inspection methods\.

     

    Experience managing and interfacing with cross functional personnel and various internal/external stakeholders to support program needs\.

    Desired Skills:

    STEM degree at bachelors level or higher preferred\.

     

    Experience with Aerospace Electrical Design, Electrical Components, Printed Wiring Boards, Printed Wiring Assemblies, Wiring Harnesses, Connectors\.

     

    Experience with J\-STD\-001, IPC\-610, IPC\-620\.

     

    ASQ Certification or Lean Six Sigma Certification \(Green Belt/Black Belt\)

     

    Experience working with suppliers in dynamic environment\.

     

    Experience with performing First Article Inspections to AS9102 requirements\.

     

    Experience with source inspection and surveillance activities at suppliers\.

     

    Strong understanding of AS9100 and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems\.

     

    Demonstrated leadership, ability to maintain customer relationship, professional acumen and presentation skills\.

     

    **Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\.

    **Ability to Work Remotely:** Part\-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process\.

    **Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.

    **Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
