    The **Diabetes Dietitian Educator** has experience in diabetes self-management training.

     

    + The position will implement clinical and education programs.

    + Be responsible for quality improvement.

    + Research activities and be an expert resource for both patients and providers.

    + The position may also be responsible for the ADA Recognized Program process and community support programs.

    + team members in the position are required to get certified (CDCES – Diabetes) within two years of their hire date/transfer date.

    Requirements:

    + Registered Dietitian License (RD)

    + Bachelor's Degree in a related field

    + 2 years of Registered Dietitian experience is required.

    + CDCES certification- preferred
