Position Summary
The Program Delivery Director for ERP Transformation will act as the senior leader. Responsible for planning, managing, and delivering the implementation of the Morehouse School of Medicine ( MSM ) Enterprise Resource Planning ( ERP ) program. This role ensures seamless integration across finance, HR, student information, and research administration systems, while aligning with institutional strategy and accreditation standards. The Director will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage vendor/partner relationships, and drive change management to enable successful adoption by faculty, staff, and students.
Minimum Qualifications
+ A bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field from a regionally accredited college or university is required.
+ 10+ years of progressive leadership in IT program management, ERP implementation, or digital transformation.
+ At least one full lifecycle ERP implementation (Workday, Oracle, SAP , Ellucian, or comparable platform).
+ Experience managing large cross-functional teams and external vendors/partners.
Skills & Competencies
+ Demonstrated success in delivering complex ERP or enterprise-scale IT programs on time and within budget.
+ Strong expertise in program governance, change management, and business process redesign.
+ Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate with academic and administrative leaders.
+ Knowledge of AI, analytics, and emerging technologies in higher education ERP environments.
+ PMP , PgMP, or equivalent project/program management certification is desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s degree ( MBA , M.S. in Information Systems, or related discipline) preferred.
• Experience in higher education IT environments.
• Prior experience in higher education or at a research institution is strongly preferred.

Job Duties
Description of Job Duty
Program Leadership
+ Lead the full lifecycle delivery of the ERP transformation program (planning, design, implementation, stabilization, optimization).
+ Define and manage program governance, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and decision-making processes.
+ Develop, monitor, and report on ERP program KPIs, including cost, schedule, adoption, and business value realization.
Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management
+ Partner with faculty leadership, administrative staff, and central IT to align ERP outcomes with academic and operational priorities.
+ Lead communication and change management strategies to drive adoption across the College and ensure minimal disruption.
+ Facilitate training programs for faculty and staff, with emphasis on user experience and AI-enabled process innovation.
Technical & Functional Oversight
+ Oversee functional design and integration of ERP modules for Finance, HR, Student Information Systems ( SIS ), and Research Administration.
+ Coordinate with the central Chief Innovation Officer and CIO to ensure compliance with institutional, state, and federal standards (e.g., FERPA , GDPR ).
+ Manage technical teams and vendors to deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions.
Vendor & Partner Management
+ Ensure effective service delivery and ongoing support, including Application Maintenance Services ( AMS ).
+ Build strategic partnerships with technology providers to incorporate innovation, including AI-enabled analytics and automation.
Team Leadership
+ Coordinate the activities of business functional leads, project managers, and technical/functional specialists.
+ Foster collaboration across central IT, functional offices, and external partners.
Performance Metrics (Success Indicators)
+ ERP implementation milestones delivered on time, on budget, and within scope.
+ High adoption rate among faculty, staff, and students (tracked through surveys & usage data).
+ Demonstrated improvement in administrative efficiency, reporting accuracy, and user satisfaction.
+ Seamless integration with university-wide IT systems and compliance with regulatory requirements.
+ Positive feedback from MSM leadership, central IT, and MSM stakeholders

It is MSM’s Immunization policy that all Prospective Employees are encouraged to provide proof that they are vaccinated against COVID -19 prior to commencement of employment. If employment will commence during Flu Season, MSM requires all individuals to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless granted an exemption. Failure to provide proof of vaccination for any required vaccines or obtain an exemption from MSM will result in rescission of a candidate’s offer of employment or disciplinary action up to and including termination.
