Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a **Senior Procurement Field Representative** to join our Global Field Operations team based in **Long Beach, California.** The successful candidate will be traveling primarily within the state of California as much as 75% of the time.

Position Responsibilities:

+ Facilitates supplier/subcontractor business relationships, delivery requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectations.

+ Develops, executes, tracks and communicates recovery/mitigation plans to support division and program requirements.

+ Drives collaboration across multi-discipline teams in the resolution of challenges impacting the delivery of materials (Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing, etc.).

+ Provides leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the California Global Field Operations team.

+ Leads and manages process improvement projects

+ Effective communication, both verbally and in writing. Excellent time management skills. Self-Starter.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

+ 5+ years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services.

+ 5+ years of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action.

+ 5+ years of experience in a role that required Scheduling, Project and/or Program Management skills.

+ 3+ years of experience with coaching and mentoring team members

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

+ Experience and ability to manage suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services.

+ Experience and ability to apply root cause analysis and corrective Action (RCCA) techniques

+ Experience in Project/Scheduling and Program Management skills

+ Experience working in Manufacturing Operations

+ 8+ years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services

+ Bachelor’s degree or higher

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $127,500 - $157,500
