As a **Security Professional - Industrial Access Team** in **Fountain Inn, SC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a secure environment for employees and visitors. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will play a key role in managing access points, responding to alarms, and supporting a culture that values teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors.

+ Assist with the implementation of site-specific policies and procedures related to access control and security-related matters.

+ Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting individuals entering or exiting the premises.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.

+ Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, or breaches of policy to the appropriate personnel.

+ Support emergency response activities as needed, including guiding individuals during evacuations or other urgent situations.

+ Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site management to maintain a secure and orderly environment.

What We’re Looking For:

+ Availability across various days and shifts

+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
