Our client, a leader in innovative communication technology, is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team. As a Software Engineer, you will be part of the development and support team, contributing to cutting-edge RTC (Real-Time Communication) solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Software Engineer

**Location:** Sarasota, FL (Remote option)

**Pay Range:** $77 - $80

What's the Job?

+ Design, develop, and maintain RTC protocols and technologies, including S/SIP, S/RTP, SDP, and WebRTC.

+ Work with modern network programming techniques, utilizing GraphQL, WebSocket, and related technologies.

+ Collaborate effectively within a fast-paced Scrum environment, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and continuous improvement.

+ Analyze design trade-offs to optimize features, schedule, quality, and cost, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.

+ Operate independently within a distributed team, demonstrating strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

What's Needed?

+ In-depth knowledge of RTC protocols and technologies.

+ Experience with FreeSWITCH source code modification and administration of platforms like Asterisk.

+ Proficiency in Lua programming and experience with cloud and on-premises deployment environments (Kubernetes, Azure).

+ Familiarity with client-side RTC development, especially using PJSIP.

+ Hands-on experience with cloud media infrastructure components such as load balancers, gateways, SBCs, STUN, and TURN servers.
