Our client, a leader in manufacturing machinery, is seeking a Manufacturing Assembly Technician to join their team. As a Manufacturing Assembly Technician, you will be part of the production support team, contributing to the assembly and testing of advanced machinery used in the woodworking industry . The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical skills, attention to detail and quality, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Manufacturing Assembly Technician

**Location:** Poughkeepsie, NY

**Pay Range:** $20-22

**Shift:** Monday–Thursday 6:00 AM–4:30 PM (4 ten-hour days) | Friday 6:00 AM–Noon (OT optional)

What's the Job?

+ Assemble machinery and subcomponents of machinery, integrating electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical components

+ Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and assembly instructions

+ Pull and prepare parts from inventory for upcoming builds

+ Make adjustments, alignments, and minor repairs to ensure optimal machine operation

+ Collaborate with engineers and technicians to troubleshoot and enhance build quality

What's Needed?

+ Strong mechanical ability, with experience in fixing engines, small equipment, or home projects

+ Confidence in using hand and power tools accurately and safely

+ Ability to read and understand blueprints or technical drawings

+ Dependability, attention to detail, and pride in quality workmanship

+ Problem-solving skills and a desire to improve processes
