    Job Description:

    Supports day-to-day store operations for client across the U.S. retail network during a temporary leave coverage period. This role focuses on executing store openings, relocations, closures, repairs, and maintenance projects, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and alignment with brand standards. The position works closely with the Real Estate, Retail, and Finance teams to keep projects on track and ensure smooth retail operations.

    Store Operations & Project Support

    • Coordinate new store openings, relocations, and closures from planning through completion.

    • Track construction timelines, vendor progress, and delivery of fixtures and supplies.

    • Support repair and maintenance requests, ensuring timely follow-up and completion.

    • Maintain project trackers, calendars, and checklists to ensure key milestones are met.

    • Assist with purchase orders, invoices, and basic budget tracking.

    Administrative & Compliance Support

    • Process rent payments, vendor invoices, and service requests accurately and promptly.

    • Coordinate business license renewals, utilities, and other compliance requirements.

    • Maintain organized records and documentation for all operational activities.

    Vendor & Team Coordination

    • Serve as a liaison with vendors, contractors, and internal partners.

    • Communicate project updates and operational needs to key stakeholders.

    • Support the overall maintenance and presentation of Kiehls retail fleet in line with brand standards.

    Qualifications

    • Experience in retail operations, facilities coordination, or project support (beauty or specialty retail preferred).

    • Strong organizational and communication skills.

    • Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with SAP or similar systems preferred.

    • Ability to travel as needed to support store projects.
