Our client, an industry leader in innovative technology solutions, is seeking a Power Management Engineer - Junior (US) to join their dynamic team. As a Power Management Engineer - Junior (US), you will be part of the Power and Performance Customer Attainment department supporting collaborative efforts across multiple teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, a passion for electrical engineering, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Power Management Engineer - Junior
**Location:** Austin, TX (onsite)
What's the Job?
+ Collaborate with multifunctional teams to support power validation of silicon products and platform-level debugging.
+ Assist in designing and testing electrical systems, focusing on power dynamics and system performance.
+ Engage in troubleshooting and debugging PC systems, working closely with clients and OEMs.
+ Support the development and automation of testing procedures using scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Perl.
+ Contribute to continuous improvement of power models and drivers for future client programs.
What's Needed?
+ Recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field.
+ Strong fundamentals in analog/digital design, signal/power integrity, and system-level understanding of BIOS, OS, and driver interactions.
+ Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Perl.
+ Good familiarity with basic lab equipment, data acquisition devices, and switching power supplies.
+ Experience with PCB technology, electrical design, and characterization of DDR4/5, USB-C, or related buses is a plus.
