Equipment Repair Technician – Aerospace Components
**Location:** Sarasota, FL
**Schedule:** Full-Time | Overtime Available
**Pay:** Competitive, based on experience
About the Role:
Are you hands-on, detail-oriented, and passionate about precision work? Adecco is hiring an **Aerospace** **Equipment Repair Technician** to perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul of complex aircraft components like power distribution systems, generators, and ram air turbines.
You’ll work in a fast-paced, regulated environment where quality and safety come first. If you enjoy solving problems, working with advanced tools, and being part of a skilled team — this is the role for you!
What You’ll Do:
+ Perform mechanical, electrical, electronic, and hydraulic repairs
+ Follow FAA regulations, manufacturer specs, and airline policies
+ Use diagnostic tools, schematics, and manuals to troubleshoot and repair
+ Maintain accurate service records and inspection logs
+ Handle and store parts and hazardous materials properly
+ Collaborate with engineers, inspectors, and technicians
+ Support urgent repairs (AOG situations) and continuous improvement efforts
+ Participate in disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, and testing
+ Maintain a clean, organized workspace to 6S standards
+ Occasionally assist with painting and sandblasting (PPE required)
What You’ll Need as a Aerospace Equipment Repair Technician
Basic Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or GED
+ Associate degree, certification, or 2+ years in aviation, industrial, or military maintenance
+ Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
+ Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
+ Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
+ Willingness to be respirator trained and work with PPE
+ Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tasks
Preferred:
+ FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification
Physical Requirements:
+ 65% stationary / 35% mobility
+ Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
**Pay Details:** $23.00 per hour
