Job Title: Advanced Chemical Process Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Chemical Process Engineer responsible for writing and modifying batch sheets and procedures for new or existing products. The role involves maintaining technical information and records on process design, safety, quality, yield, productivity, cost, and reliability. This position will also focus on developing corrective and preventive actions for processing failures.

Responsibilities

+ Write and modify batch sheets and procedures for assigned processes detailing processing steps and key parameters.

+ Maintain technical information and necessary records on assigned processes.

+ Develop corrective and preventive actions for processing failures related to equipment, downtime, off-quality, and complaints.

+ Ensure process safety management (PSM) requirements are met.

+ Review equipment preparation procedures prior to major maintenance or modifications.

Essential Skills

+ Chemical engineering

+ Experience in chemical manufacturing

+ Process safety management (PSM)

+ Specialty chemical process knowledge

+ Batch processing expertise

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering

+ 10 years of experience in project management and process engineering

+ Experience with PSM code, HAZZ OPS, and LOPA studies

+ Knowledge of Siemens and/or Delta V (nice to have)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
