Job Title: Aerospace Assembler (First Shift)
Job Description
We are looking for an Aerospace Assembler to join our team, working on the assembly of engine cowlings and sheet metal components. The role is based on-site at a major aerospace facility near Sky Harbor Airport. You will use blueprints, standard operating procedures, and various tools to assemble parts and complete electric bond checks.
Responsibilities
+ Read and interpret blueprints and standard operating procedures to assemble components.
+ Use power tools, hand tools, drills, and torque equipment to assemble parts.
+ Complete electric bond checks and ensure quality verification through torque settings and dimensional measurements.
+ Understand and follow Honeywell specifications for assembly.
+ Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Essential Skills
+ 2+ years of manufacturing experience in an aerospace environment is highly preferred.
+ 2-3 years of assembly experience, particularly with large parts.
+ Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.
+ Experience with mechanical assembly and use of power and hand tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in the automotive industry or other manufacturing environments is acceptable.
+ Familiarity with commercial or military aircraft engines is a significant advantage.
+ Basic understanding of quality verification practices such as torque settings and electrical bond checks.
+ Prior experience or re-hire eligibility at Honeywell is beneficial.

Work Environment
The position is based in an aerospace manufacturing environment located near Sky Harbor Airport. The team-oriented culture promotes a tight-knit and collaborative atmosphere, adhering to Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement principles. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 2:30 PM, with the requirement to train during the day for a few weeks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, Arizona.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
