Job Title: CNC Mill Machinist

Job Description

Join our team as a CNC Mill Machinist, where you will be responsible for setting up and operating DMG Mori Seiki Mills. You will handle setups, edits, G&M Codes, tool changes, troubleshooting, and more. Expect to manage 4-6 setups per day, working on low-volume runs and prototype parts for our engineering team. Your role will involve working with both manual mills and lathes, while also inspecting your own parts.

Responsibilities

+ Set up and operate DMG Mori Seiki Mills

+ Perform setups, edits, G&M Codes, and tool changes

+ Troubleshoot and manage 4-6 setups per day

+ Work on low-volume runs and prototype parts

+ Handle manual mills and lathes operations

+ Inspect parts for quality assurance

Essential Skills

+ 3+ years of CNC Mill Setup experience

+ Proficient in making G&M edits

+ Ability to read production and short run blueprints

+ 2-year CNC degree or certificate

+ Experience with manual mills or lathes

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Proficient using calipers and gauges for inspections

+ Shop Math experience

+ Ability to work with machine components

Work Environment

Our facility is a very clean, organized, and well-lit manufacturing environment that is climate-controlled. You will be part of a smaller, more intimate team, working within a department that includes three mills and three turning centers, all equipped with Mori Seiki machines. The department consists of 13 dedicated team members.

Job Type & Location

This is a permanent position based out of Shoreview, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $31.00/hr.
