    Job Title: Packer

    Job Description

    Join our team as a packer, where you will work at the end of the production line, handling products, counting them according to order sheets, and packing them into boxes for shipment to customers.

    Responsibilities

    + Report to your supervisor at the beginning of each shift.

    + Be assigned to a specific production line each day.

    + Receive cross-training on different lines during the initial weeks.

    + Apply labels, stack and pack boxes, and manage scrap parts as needed.

    + Complete work orders based on daily production runs.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in packing, retail, inventory, assembly, production, general labor, picking, and packaging.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, though most products are lighter (usually up to 20 lbs).

    + Proficiency in English, with the ability to read and follow instructions.

    + Competency in counting and familiarity with injection molding, injection mold, and injection molding machines.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in an industrial environment is advantageous.

    + Familiarity with extrusion or injection molding is a plus.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a cleanroom environment where safety glasses are provided and must be worn at all times. The temperature-controlled facility offers paid breaks, including one 15-minute and one 30-minute break. Shifts are available as follows: 1st shift from 7am to 3pm, 2nd shift from 3pm to 11pm, and 3rd shift from 11pm to 7am.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Leominster, Massachusetts.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
