Job Title: Material Handler
Job Description
The Material Handler plays a crucial role in our manufacturing process by ensuring that materials are accurately counted, managed, and distributed. This position supports our inventory management system and is essential for maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing lines.
Mon-Fri: 7:30am-4pm $20-25/hr DOE
Responsibilities
+ Conduct inbound inspections, unpackaging, purchase order matching, counting, labeling, and accurate put-away.
+ Perform daily Kanban replenishment and initiate reorders as needed.
+ Pick, stage, and deliver items to production, and expedite as necessary.
+ Conduct cycle counts and resolve inventory discrepancies to maintain accuracy.
+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in adherence to 5S standards.
+ Handle discrepant materials including RTV, RTS, rework, and scrap.
+ Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment such as scales, carts, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
+ Assist other departments to ensure material availability and support operational flow.
+ Provide backup support for shipping and receiving activities.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in material handling techniques.
+ Experience with inventory management systems.
+ Familiarity with RF scanners and packing processes.
+ Capability in shipping, receiving, and order picking.
+ Experience in conducting inbound inspections and PO matching.
+ Ability to perform cycle counts and manage inventory discrepancies.
+ Knowledge of equipment inspection and basic repair procedures.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
