Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

Join our team as a distribution technician where you will play a vital role in preparing and shipping labels for various grocery stores. This position involves scanning labels to ensure they match the boxes, prepping shipments, and using an RF Scanner. You will be required to lift boxes weighing up to 40 lbs, with the majority ranging between 15-25 lbs.

Responsibilities

+ Scan labels to match them with corresponding boxes.

+ Prepare and tape shipments efficiently.

+ Use an RF Scanner for inventory and labeling tasks.

+ Lift and handle boxes up to 40 lbs.

+ Assist in shift changes and adhere to updated schedules.

Essential Skills

+ 1+ years of warehouse experience.

+ 6+ months of equipment operation experience.

+ Proficiency in using RF Scanners and pallet jacks.

+ Experience with stand-up and sit-down forklifts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in inventory management and cycle counts.

+ Familiarity with computer skills for tracking and shipping tasks.

+ General labor skills in packaging, order picking, and material handling.

Work Environment

Our facility is clean and climate-controlled, ensuring a comfortable working environment. You will be part of a team of 15-20 people in a production area that is lively and has a slight ink smell. It's a dynamic and collaborative setting where your contributions are essential.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Century, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
