Job Title: General Laborer

Job Description

Field technicians are responsible for delivering essential cleaning, vacuuming, flushing, and blasting services across various industries, including food and beverage, pharmaceutical, paints and coatings, and non-hazardous chemicals and waste sectors. This role involves working on new construction sites as well as within company facilities, ensuring thorough cleanup efforts on site. A safety-conscious mindset and strict adherence to all safety procedures are essential. The role requires the capability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate both light and heavy equipment, such as blasting equipment and vacuum trucks.

Responsibilities

+ Work on new construction job sites and within company facilities.

+ Ensure thorough site cleanup efforts.

+ Adhere to all safety procedures on site.

+ Operate light and heavy equipment, including blasting equipment, compactor and vacuum trucks.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in manual labor and general labor

+ Experience with construction and vacuum truck operation

+ Ability to lift up to 75 pounds

+ Ability to read and write in English

+ Pass DOT physical and pulmonary fit tests

+ Ability to work 45-50 hours a week and travel up to 4 days a week

Work Environment

The role requires working in various weather conditions, including hot, wet, or foul-smelling environments. Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times, including steel-toed boots, safety glasses, gloves, safety vest, and hardhat. Work hours are typically Monday to Friday, from 7 AM to 5 PM, with shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours depending on the job. Occasionally, being on call is required, and a per diem is provided for travel time. The candidate will work in a crew of 2-3 and must be willing to be clean-shaven as respirator use may be necessary depending on the job.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tampa, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
