    Aerotek is hiring a Quality Inspector in New Castle County DE!

    Overview:

    We are looking for a meticulous Quality Control Inspector to contribute to our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for executing product inspections, conducting tests, and performing sampling procedures throughout the production process. Duties include monitoring packaging lines, assessing incoming materials, and reviewing Device History Records. The role may also support method validation and troubleshooting activities **.**

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Uphold and encourage a culture of safety in the workplace.

    + Perform inspections on both in-process and completed products.

    + Accurately document quality control findings and maintain records.

    + Assist in root cause analysis for non-conforming items.

    + Participate in audits to verify compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs).

    + Initiate and document Non-Conformance Events (NCEs).

    + Review and approve Device History Records and customer orders.

    + Contribute to ongoing process improvement efforts.

    + Complete all required training and maintain up-to-date documentation.

    + Maintain consistent attendance and be available for overtime when necessary.

    Required Skills:

    + Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive).

    + Ability to follow detailed written instructions.

    + Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

    + Capable of working independently and within a team.

    + Exceptional attention to detail.

    + Experience with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and microscopes.

    + Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.

    + Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

    Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree preferred.

    + 0–1 years of relevant experience preferred.

    + Previous experience in quality control or manufacturing is advantageous.

    + Experience in FDA-regulated medical device production is a plus.

    + Familiarity with Oracle ERP or Agile PLM systems is beneficial.

    Work Conditions:

    This role involves working in cleanroom environments with exposure to mechanical components, vibration, and moderate noise levels. Safety footwear may be required in designated areas. Tasks may include handling high-voltage electronics, radiation, and working in controlled settings. Physical requirements include lifting up to 40 pounds and performing activities such as sitting, standing, walking, reaching, bending, kneeling, and crawling.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $29.71 - $29.71/hr.
