Job Title: Production Control Lead
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Production Control Lead to direct and coordinate production, processes, and distribution within our facility. This role involves overseeing production control activities to ensure our manufacturing objectives are met efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
+ Direct and coordinate production, processes, and distribution.
+ Coordinate production control activities to meet manufacturing objectives.
+ Review production schedules and orders to manage inventory, staffing, and work procedures.
+ Collaborate with Human Resources for hiring, training, and resolving employee concerns.
+ Manage labor overtime costs and maintain production control reports.
+ Work with Production Control Manager to improve material flow and layout for new projects.
+ Plan and establish work schedules to meet production goals.
+ Assist in developing production tracking to detect production issues.
+ Implement and maintain programs such as preventative maintenance and safety training.
+ Demonstrate equipment operations and safety procedures to new employees.
+ Ensure operators conform to quality standards.
+ Provide leadership and development to floor associates.
Essential Skills
+ Knowledge of the Automotive Manufacturing Industry.
+ Leadership skills and ability to motivate employees.
+ Basic knowledge of business economics.
+ Broad knowledge of OSHA and workplace health & safety.
+ Understanding of ASN, EDI, material handling, inventory control, and logistics.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
+ Three years of experience in an automotive, manufacturing, or logistics environment as a production supervisor or team lead.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Knowledge of seating system/assembly.
+ Broad knowledge and understanding of quality systems.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
