    Job Title: T1 Infra - HVAC Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician with a strong background in operating equipment in the field. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of equipment, piping ductwork, dampers, valves, air movement, exhaust systems, and more.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate and maintain HVAC equipment, ensuring proper function and safety.

    + Perform general HVAC maintenance tasks, including inspection and repair of pumps, filters, compressed air systems, air units, and more.

    + Prioritize and execute maintenance and preventative maintenance tasks such as shutdowns, LOTO, commissioning, and inspection.

    + Conduct repairs and inspections, which may require climbing stairs, working on roofs, or performing tasks outdoors for extended periods.

    + Work safely at heights, understanding and adhering to Fall Protection procedures, including the use of lanyards, harnesses, and tie-offs.

    + Communicate effectively using a two-way radio and occasionally a cell phone.

    + Explain and adhere to health and safety procedures, demonstrating a strong commitment to safety practices.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with HVAC and refrigeration systems.

    + Ability to conduct maintenance and repair tasks efficiently.

    + Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members.

    + Understanding of Fall Protection procedures.

    + Ability to work in confined spaces.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Refrigeration experience and licensing are advantageous.

    + Familiarity with semi-conductor environments is beneficial but not required.

    + Supervisory and troubleshooting skills in electrical, construction, industrial settings.

    Work Environment

     

    Work primarily takes place in a large warehouse where in-warehouse transportation is provided. Expect to be on your feet most of the day in a somewhat dirty environment.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Austin, Texas.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $37.94 - $37.94/hr.
