Job Title: Maintenance I&E Technician

Job Description

As an Instrument and Electrical Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the plant and occasionally assisting with capital projects. You will primarily work with instrumentation and electrical components, ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment.

Responsibilities

+ Perform maintenance and repair on VFDs, drives, relays, sensors, and motor controls.

+ Calibrate, adjust, and replace standard proximity/inductive sensors.

+ Utilize Rosemount temperature, pressure, and flow transmitters.

+ Troubleshoot and check wiring, with voltage ranging from 24v DC to 480v AC.

+ Run tubing using a tubing bender for sizes ranging from 1/4" to 5/8".

+ Collaborate with on-site programmers for detailed HMI work.

Essential Skills

+ 5+ years of experience as a maintenance electrician or in an I&E role.

+ 5+ years of experience in a plant or manufacturing setting.

+ Expertise in VFD/drives repair and sensor repairs.

+ Proficiency in computer skills, including HMI and PLC systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with PLC troubleshooting, including GE Fanuc and ABB.

+ Associate’s Degree in Instrument Technology.

+ 10+ years in a plant or manufacturing setting.

+ Military experience is a plus.

+ Proficiency in Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SAP.

Work Environment

Work in a large 90,000 sq ft manufacturing facility with multi-level sections. The plant operates 24/7 on a European style Dupont schedule, with 8 operators per shift. You will work on a day shift from Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Safety is a priority, requiring hard hats, safety glasses, FRCs, and gloves. The offices are modular buildings that are functional and meet operational needs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
