    The Arlington Central School District, a unique, culturally-diverse district with influences of urban, suburban and rural settings, is located in the Mid-Hudson region of Dutchess County, New York. We educate approximately 7,600 students in 11 schools, including eight elementary schools, two middle schools, and one high school.

    We are currently seeking applicants for an Assistant Principal position at our high School effective on or about December 1, 2025. Candidates must be highly-motivated school leaders with a demonstrated ability to impact student learning. Successful candidates must possess strong communication skills; have a deep understanding of child development and effective pedagogical practices; commitment to the ideals of equity and the belief that all children can learn. Interested applicants should also have a record of successful experience as a teacher and/or administrator.

     

    A competitive salary commensurate with experience will be offered.

    Job Qualifications

    Applicant must have a valid NYS administrative certification (SAS, SDL, SBL).
