At Stryker, we’re looking for a **Project Manager** in R&D who thrives on driving results, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality outcomes. If you're energized by collaboration, innovation, and making a measurable difference, this is your opportunity to lead projects that matter.
You will need to live within commuting distance of our Portage, MI office. This is a hybrid role, with on-site work required on average 2 days a week.
What You Will Do
+ Lead the development and execution of project charters, management plans, and detailed Gantt charts
+ Define project scope with stakeholders and create structured work breakdowns to guide execution
+ Monitor project budgets and ensure costs remain within approved limits
+ Develop and maintain quality and risk management plans using industry-standard tools
+ Assign and manage project team resources, defining roles and deliverables clearly
+ Build and execute stakeholder and communication management plans
+ Collaborate on procurement planning and vendor selection
+ Provide performance feedback to functional managers and support team development
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
+ Minimum 4 years of relevant project management experience
+ Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project)
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience in regulated or quality-driven environments
