The Opportunity:

As a Sr. Specialist you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of receipts, service entries, and financial transactions. This position supports multiple departments across the mill.

How you will impact Smurfit Westrock:

\u2022 Work as subject matter expert for SAP, JDE, and Coupa

\u2022 Act as Covington\u2019s point of contact for corporate accounts payable

* Responsible for raw material receipts and financial accuracy

\u2022 Responsible for SAP service order entries and good receipts for multiple departments across the mill

\u2022 Participate in month end close activities

\u2022 Assist with vendor and system support by responding to internal and external inquiries and researching and resolving issues across various systems.

\u2022 Support internal and external audit requests related to invoices and financial documentation

What you will need to succeed:

Associate\u2019s degree in accounting, or other business-related discipline

2-5 years of accounts payable experience

Broad knowledge of accounting principles

Analytical skills required for error investigation and resolution

Working knowledge of SAP & J.D. Edwards software preferred

Demonstrated ability to work well under tight deadlines

Ability to work collaboratively with other individuals

Working knowledge of Excel
