Senior OSS Architect – In-Flight Connectivity Systems

Are you a visionary architect with a passion for building scalable, cloud-native platforms in the telecommunications space? A leading global technology company is seeking a Senior OSS Architect to spearhead the design and development of its next-generation In-Flight Connectivity (IFC) systems.

This is a high-impact role where you'll lead the architecture of OSS/BSS platforms that power onboarding, subscriptions, billing, and service delivery for cutting-edge connectivity solutions. What You’ll Do

+ Architect and evolve OSS/BSS systems for IFC, ensuring seamless integration and performance.

+ Define technical requirements across performance, functionality, and security.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, network experts, product managers, and external partners.

+ Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

+ Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.

+ Monitor and optimize system performance to meet SLAs and business goals.

+ Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to the architectural roadmap.

+ Lead design reviews, test planning, and go-to-market strategies.

What You Bring

+ 10+ years in OSS/BSS development or network engineering for large-scale distributed systems.

+ 5+ years in architecture or technical leadership roles.

+ Deep expertise in OSS/BSS platforms (e.g., ServiceNow TSM/TSOM, Ericsson, Amdocs, Openet).

+ Experience integrating Salesforce (Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud).

+ Strong background in distributed systems, microservices, and RESTful APIs.

+ Familiarity with cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes, containers, etc.).

+ Understanding of telecommunications, especially satellite-based connectivity.

+ Proficiency in network management, API gateways (Apigee, MuleSoft), and data analytics tools (Tableau, Power BI, ELK, Quicksights).

+ Passion for observability, maintainability, and automation.

+ Experience with Agile development and CI/CD tools (Jira, GitLab, Jenkins, Confluence).

+ Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

+ AWS and ServiceNow certifications are a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $64.29 - $71.43/hr.
