_At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for this role is between $18.25-$25.50 per hour, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location._

PLANT ENGINEERING CLERK – AUSTIN PLANT
This position reports to the Manager of Plant Engineering.
The work schedule for this position is flexible, but currently Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Minimal weekend work is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The person in this position:
+ Collects, organizes and presents Mechanical Division data/charts to Austin Plant management in a clear and concise manner.
+ Administers the Enterprise Asset Management System (Infor EAMS) including equipment records, work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, and employee information.
+ Performs numerous administrative assistance to the Maintenance Division
+ Develops, organizes, and distributes weekly maintenance reports for environmental compliance, sustainability tracking, maintenance, and labor.
+ Prepares and coordinates training and orientation programs for new engineers and other mechanical staff.
+ Administers maintenance supervisor and craftsmen schedules.
+ Maintains the plant engineering filing system and environmental compliance, process safety management, and other regulatory records.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
+ Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to initiate appropriate action independently.
+ Proven ability to perform detailed clerical and mathematical work accurately and efficiently.
+ Demonstrated problem solving and organizational ability.
+ A strong working knowledge of the following PC software: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and One Note.
+ Ability to learn other computer applications (Lotus Notes, PowerPoint, Oracle, eTime).
Preferred
+ Working knowledge of internet based programs (ex: EAMS – Enterprise Access Management System)
+ Experience preparing and giving presentations
