Strategic Project: SkillsFirst in Action
In July 2025, Congress passed the 'Big Beautiful Bill,' expanding Pell Grant eligibility to short-term, non-degree workforce programs. HP played a key role in shaping this policy as a founding member of the SkillsFirst Coalition. Shortly after, the White House released _America's Talent Strategy: Building the Workforce for the Golden Age_ , emphasizing skills-first hiring and inclusive pathways. This project invites the intern to explore how HP can align and build on its alternative pathways strategy in response to these federal actions.
Project Objectives
