Northrop Grumman Space System Sector is looking for a Sr. Principal Engineering Technician to join the Mechanical Engineering team within Launch Vehicles at the Chandler, AZ facility.

Essential Functions:

+ Support engineering document release in Teamcenter

+ Facilitate procurement of materials and services for the Engineering department

+ Create training materials for non-technical engineering processes, and managing metrics for the Management team

+ Document release tasks will involve resolving tickets in Teamcenter, check document markings prior to release, and keep engineers informed on release process changes

+ In support of procurement efforts act as the Material Procurement Manager (MPM) interface with Procurement for the Mechanical Engineering department

Basic Qualifications:

+ High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years additional education and/or related experience

+ Experience working in an engineering environment supporting engineering processes

+ Experience working in procurement

+ Experience working with an engineering document release process

+ Experience with marking of documents in Aerospace or defense industry

+ Experience managing simple metrics

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Minimum 12 years related experience

+ Experience working in Teamcenter

+ Experience working with procurement in Aerospace or defense industry

+ Experience with marking of documents in Aerospace or defense industry

+ Experience managing advanced metrics in an engineering environment

Primary Level Salary Range: $66,300.00 - $110,500.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
