About the role

As a **Python Full Stack Developer** , you will make an impact by designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-native applications and automation solutions that enhance system performance, scalability, and reliability. You will be a valued member of the Cognizant team and work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders including DevOps, QA, and platform engineering teams.

In this role, you will:

+ Develop and maintain cloud-native applications using Python and modern frameworks.

+ Automate workflows and processes using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell.

+ Set up and maintain test environments across cloud platforms (e.g., Azure).

+ Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

+ Collaborate with DevOps and QA teams to ensure seamless CI/CD integration.

+ Set up and manage monitoring systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).

+ Analyze logs and metrics to detect anomalies and performance bottlenecks.

+ Research and evaluate new technologies to improve system performance and reliability.

+ Ensure application responsiveness, scalability, and security.

+ Write technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing.

What you need to have to be considered:

+ 8+ years of hands-on experience in Full Stack Development with Python.

+ Strong proficiency in Python, PowerShell, and automation scripting.

+ Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Spotify Backstage.

+ Familiarity with Cloud Development Environment (CDE) tools such as CODER.COM.

+ Proven ability to set up and manage monitoring tools to track key metrics (latency, traffic, errors, saturation).

+ Experience creating intelligent alerts and automating deployments, configuration changes, and system provisioning.

+ Solid understanding of cloud platforms, especially Azure.

+ Experience designing scalable and secure microservices and APIs.

These will help you stand out:

+ Experience working in agile and DevOps environments.

+ Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

+ Familiarity with observability best practices and performance tuning.

+ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

+ Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
