    We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Special Education Teacher to join a collaborative school team in Plymouth. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with students in the special education program, supporting their academic, behavioral, and developmental growth in a structured and inclusive environment.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Provide individualized instruction and support to students in the special education program

    + Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with families and school staff

    + Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed

    + Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment

    + Collaborate with paraprofessionals, therapists, and general education teachers

    Position Details:

    + ?? Contract Duration: Through the end of the current school year

    + ?? Schedule: Full-time, school hours

    + ?? Pay: $45/hr

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred)

    + Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations

    + PELSB certification

    + Previous school experience preferred

    + Minimum of one year experience in a teaching environment (preferred)

    + State Teacher Certification; Type:

    • Standard Elementary Teaching (preferred)

    • Standard Secondary Teaching (preferred)

    • Standard Special Teaching (preferred)

    + Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) (preferred)

    + Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

    + Current CPR (if applicable)

    + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable)

    + Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
